The Foundation, which is the Chamber's trust body was formed with the objective of promoting the well-being of Calcutta and in that context, funds various projects to bring about a change in the quality of urban life. It is geared to reach out to almost every sphere of urban life where deprivation and denials warrant redressal. Prevention of substance abuse, environment-friendly income generation projects, awards for excellence and the Better Calcutta Contest are just some of ICC Calcutta Foundation's long-term projects.
